Siping City, located in Northeast China's Jilin province, celebrated the groundbreaking of the Wanda Plaza on October 10.

Officials including Siping Party Secretary Liu Xijie and Vice Mayor Wang Yu attended the ceremony.

The project is conveniently located in the center of Tiedong District with easy access to local transportation and is surrounded by business, administration and culture facilities of the district.

The plaza will become the city's largest urban complex housing a large shopping center, five-star hotel, "smart" office building, luxury apartment, pedestrian street, and a dining street.

The Siping Wanda Plaza will accelerate the development and commercial upgrading of the city and help to build a more fashionable, modern, international Siping.
